On July 22, 2009, His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, turns 58.

A prayer of thanks at the anniversary of the birthday of the First Among the Romanian Orthodox Church will be held during Holy Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest.

The official celebration of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel is on the 30th of September, the day of his enthronement in the dignity of Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
